All submissions now have the [Edit Photo] option in a dropdown for each photo. If your the owner of the photo, you can now access the detail to edit the photo from this menu selection. See (http://thirstyphoto.com/blog/?p=618) for more info.
Once you have connected to the Site with your Faceboook account, you have two options to submit a photo. The easiest way will be located on your profile badge located in the upper right hand corner of the site. In the example below, I can click on the ‘Submit to “SIGNS”‘ link and go directly to the upload page.

You can also navigate to the Contest Album (current open contest album seen here ). You should find a drop-down menu in the lower left of the page. Choose [Add Items] when you are ready to submit a photo to the album.
Other members can rate the photo and add comments, once the Voting Window opens. Once the contest moves to this Voting Phase, the ability to add photos to the album will be turned off. So be sure to submit while the submission window is active.
Contest Albums have permissions to upload images only when the Contest is active. Once it is closed, upload options are removed.
Item Actions Menu
A previous post showed how to access the submission form to submit a photo. This posting focuses on how to add more value to the submission by adding or editing your Title and Description. After your photo has been submitted and then reviewed by ThirstyPhoto, you will get access to edit your photo. You will usually get access a day after you have submitted to a contest.
In our first contest, a lot of photos had no description and titles were usually the name of the file submitted. When others view your submission, a good Title and Description helps increase the quality of the photo, and can enhance the actual photograph for others. Poor titles and descriptions weaken your chance at a good rating by judges and your peers.
To edit your photo, navigate to your submission and choose [Edit Photo] from the <item actions> menu. The form has a lot of options, I recommend focusing on the Title, Summary, and Description.
